MRS. RALPH SORENSON BURIED AT THORNTON

Mrs. Ralph Sorenson, whose early life was spent in the Patterson community, died last week at a hospital in Mason City.

Mrs. Sorenson was the former Doris Iva Lane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. O. Lane, and was born near Patterson. She attended the Patterson high school, for her first three years, but graduated from the high, school at Shannon City. Since her marriage to Ralph Sorenson, three years ago, her home had been at Thornton.

Her father preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband; four sons, Glenn, Kenny, Warren and Danny; her mother, Mrs. Stella Lane of Winterset; a sister, Mrs. Lorange Johnson of Creston; five brothers, Merl and Rex Lane of Des Moines; Phillip Lane, of Van Meter, Bud Lane of Earlham and Don Lane of the U. S. Air Force.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Methodist church at Thornton, in charge of the Rev. Mr. Egelund. Burial was made in the Pleasant View cemetery at Thornton.
