W. W. Shoemaker of Winterset Dies

W. W. Shoemaker, a resident of Winterset for many years, died suddenly at his home here shortly before noon, Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Death was caused by a heart attack, he was 68 years of age. Nearest surviving relative is his wife.

Funeral services will be held this Sunday at 2 p. m. from the First Presbyterian church in Winterset.

W. W. SHOEMAKER HAD
LIVED HERE 32 YEARS

W. W. Shoemaker, whoso death occurred here Dec. 10, had been a resident of Winterset for 32 years. Mr Shoemaker was born at Corning on Aug. 30, 1884, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shoemaker.

As a young, man he was married to Laura Rockwell. They were parents of two daughters. The wife and both daughters preceded him in death. On Dec. 1, 1915, he was married to Edna May Campbell of Prescott, who survives him.

In addition to his wife; he leaves three granddaughters, Shirley May Button, who is in nurse's training at Iowa City, and Patricia Ann and Beverly Bea Button of Adcl; three sisters,. Mrs. Laura Kutts of Canada, Mrs. Geneva Kinart of Missouri and Mrs. Helen Herman of Wisconsin; and two brothers, Dr. Roy Shoemaker of Kansas and Chester Shoemaker of Washington, D. C.
