Former Resident Dies in California

Word was received by local relatives of the death May 20 of Bert Ramsey, 89, of Pasadena, California.

Mr. Ramsey barbered here and also worked for Dan Jones in the furniture store. He left Earlham in 1907. He followed the barber profession in California.

He is survived by two brothers, Earl Ramsey of Earlham and Milt Ramsey of Waukee and three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Benson of Earlham, Mrs. W. E. Moffitt of Ackworth and Dorcas Ramsey of California.
