Richard "Dick" Cummins, Sr., 83, went home to his Heavenly Father Thursday, December 3, 2015 while surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Richard was born May 6, 1933 to Eric and Opal Cummins in Madison County, Iowa. He was married to Inez Marie for 58 years and had three children. He was an electrician for 35 years.
Richard loved spending time with his family. He had many hobbies including woodworking, traveling, camping, fishing, and reading a good book.
Richard is survived by his second loving wife, Gloria and their dogs, Jake and Ginger; his children, Richard Jr. (Kyle) and David (Debbie); step-children, Donna and Gary; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Inez Marie, daughter, Donna Marie, and his 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
