Thursday, May 13, 1954Mrs. Mabel E. Myers of Antioch, Illinois passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, May 1 in Memorial hospital, Woodstock, Illinois.
Born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania April 15, 1902 she was the daughter of Ardie M. and David Fegan. She moved to Iowa during her childhood.
She was married to Arthur P. Myers on December 14, 1922 in Winterset, Iowa.
The family moved to Illinois in the fall of 1934.
Mrs. Myers leaves her husband, a daughter Mrs. Roberta Ruble, Maroa, Illinois; four sons, Gerald of Troy, Texas; Harold and Halden of Antioch, Illinois; and Russell, in the Army in Korea; her mother of Earlham; a brother, Clarence of Earlham; a sister, Mrs. Edna Thompson of Woodward, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on May 4, 1954 in the Millburn Congregational church of which she was a member.
Interment was in the Millburn, Illinois cemetery.
