On Wednesday of last week, Mrs. Wilbur Dowler, who has long been a sufferer, passed to her reward; funeral services at the M. E. church on Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. Samuel Howe and on the morning of Friday at the same place occurred the funeral of little Veda Hogg, only daughter of Jeff Hogg and wife, services by Rev. W. W. Williams.

On the same day (January 27th) little Vada Hogg, daughter of Jeff and Rachel Hogg was buried, the funeral was conducted by Rev. Williams.
