Augusta C. Kelso was born at Carmi, Illinois, March 28, 1822 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. W. D. Orswell, at Mitchell, S. D. February 5, 1905, at the ripe old age of 83 years. She was the mother of six children, three of whom survive her. She, with her husband moved to this county in 1854 and lived here until 1870, when they moved to Storm Lake, lowa. They moved to Mitchell, S. D. about 25 years ago. Funeral and interment made at Mitchell.
