TOM MCDONALD, Winterset

October 6, 1953 - October 22, 2015

Tom McDonald, 62, of Winterset died Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

There are no services planned at this time and burial will be at a later date in the McDonald-Chase Cemetery near Winterset.

Thomas Harold McDonald, son of Harold and Martha (Overturf) McDonald, was born October 6, 1953 in Winterset. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1972 and was active in the wrestling program. In his free time, Tom enjoyed playing pool and participating in slow-pitch softball. He attended the Community Church in Winterset.

Tom is survived by four children, Aaron Rush of Iowa Falls, Joseph (Jess) Mc Donald of De Soto, Jason (Laci) McDonald of Iowa Falls, and Cathy Scrabech of Iowa Falls; six grandchildren, Lilly, Isabelle, Taylor, Sabrina, Chloe, and Carson; sister, Terre (Daniel) Gross of Des Moines; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
