STROKE FATAL TO MRS. R. C. GRAHAM

Mrs. R. C. Graham of Macksburg, lifetime resident of Madison county, died at the Winterset hospital Sunday morning, August 29. She was 66 years old. Mrs. Graham suffered a stroke Saturday evening on her way from Winterset to Macksburg and she died just 16 hours afterward.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 1, at 2:30 p.m. in the Macksburg Methodist church. Rev. J. E. Englund a Lorimor and the Macksburg minister were in charge. Interment was made in the Moon cemetery under the direction of the Watts Funeral Service.

Mabel E. Stewart, daughter of Adam and Martha Stewart, was born in south of Macksburg on July 26, 1877. She has spent her entire life in Madison county. She was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church for many years. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Graham and to this union were born six children.

She is survived by her husband, six children; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bogl of Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Lorene Ross of Macksburg; four sons, Russell of Glenwood, Calif.; Arlie of Greenfield; Earl of Orient, and one Wymond Graham of Macksburg, and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. R.C. Graham, a widely known resident of the Macksburg community, died at the Winterset hospital Sunday. She has suffered a stroke the preceding day. She was about 66 years of age.

Mrs. Graham is survived by her husband and six children. The children are: Arlie Graham of Greenfield, Earl Graham of Orient, Mrs. Dorothy Vogle of Omaha, Russell Graham of Lynwood, Calif., and Mrs. Lorene Ross and Wyman Graham of Macksburg.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held this Wednesday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. J. England. Burial was to be made in the Moon cemetery.

Rites Tomorrow for Mrs. Graham, Who Died in Automobile

LORIMOR—Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Graham, 66, of the Macksburg vicinity, who died on Saturday, will be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday by Rev. Englund at the Macksburg Methodist church.

Mrs. Graham had been shopping in Winterset Saturday afternoon and died from a stroke while enroute home by automobile. She is survived by six children, one brother, Lee Stewart of Macksburg, and two sisters.

Burial will be at the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.

Rites Yesterday for Mrs. Graham Who Died at Hospital

MACKSBURG — Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p. m. yesterday at the Macksburg Methodist church for Mrs. Robert Graham who died Sunday morning at a Winterset hospital following a stroke of paralysis which she suffered on Saturday afternoon. (The News Advertiser was misinformed in its story Tuesday that Mrs. Graham had died in an automobile en route home from Winterset.)

She is survived by her husband, four sons, Arlie of Greenfield, Earl of Orient, Russell of Lynwood, Calif., and Wyman of Macksburg, and two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Vogl of Omaha and Mrs. Lorene Ross of Macksburg.

Coordinator's note: Middle name taken from her Iowa Death Certificate. Daughter Dorothy is "Vogl" per the 1950 Federal census.
