Howard R. Lorimor, former Madison county resident, died last Friday at his home in Des Moines. He was 73 years old.

Mr. Lorimor was well known both around Van Meter and in Peru, where he formerly lived.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Kale funeral home in Truro, and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.

Peru

Funeral services for Howard Lorimor of Des Moines were held at Kale’s Funeral Home in Truro Sunday afternoon, and burial was at the Peru Cemetery. Mr. Lorimor was born and raised near Old Peru, and at one time was in the grocery business here with Charles Tilp. He had lived in Des Moines for a good many years and had been in ill health a long time.

He is survived by Mrs. Lorimor and several brothers and sisters. One sister, Mrs. Agnes Hollingsworth, lives in Peru.
