They were the parents of two sons, and the family moved to Iowa in 1910, living near St. Charles one year, then to a farm near Peru, where they lived for a number of years.

Mr. Rockey died May 24, 1918, but she and the sons remained on the farm. She was married to E. E. Kale of Truro, January 15, 1934, and since then that town had been her home. Mr. Kale died January 14, 1940.

Mrs. Kale joined the Lutheran church in Altoona when she was a girl, and in later years she was a member of the Ivy chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Kale is survived by two sons, Harry Rockey of Truro and Kenneth Rockey of Peru; two granddaughters, Carolyn and Joyce, two sisters, Catherine Barclay and Mrs. C. S. Filer and two stepsons, Doss and Charles Kale of Truro.

The Rev. Wm. J. Van Vliet conducted her funeral services at the Peru Methodist church Wednesday, April 14, and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
