ELEANOR HOUGH, Texas

Eleanor Hough, 90, of Kingwood, Texas, died June 18, 2015, in Kingwood, where she had been living for the past three years.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, in the Stringtown Cemetery in Douglas Township, Madison County, Iowa. Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset has been entrusted with arrangements.

Eleanor Emma Benjamin was born in Winterset, Iowa, on Oct. 25, 1924. During her lifetime, she lived in various parts of the United States but always considered Winterset home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, David and Mildred Benjamin; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Freda Benjamin; and her sister, Esther Brougene.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily (Keith) Morrison of Clearwater, Fla.; her sons, Ron Hilburn of Vancouver B.C., Canada, and Bob (Melanie) Hilburn of Humble, Texas; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
