MRS. MARY STUMP PASSED LAST WEEK

Funeral Rites Conducted by Rev. Covey on Last Friday

Mrs. Mary Stump, a resident of Winterset and Madison county for many years, died here on Wednesday of last week. She was about 60 years of age.

Mrs. Stump is survived by her husband, Frank Stump; a daughter, Irene; and a son Harold.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. Rudolf Covey, pastor of the Church of God. Burial was made in a cemetery in Webster township.

MRS. MARY STUMP DIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Mary Eveline Stump, about 60 years of age, died here Wednesday morning following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Stump had been taken to the Winterset hospital this week when her condition became critical.

Efforts were being made here Wednesday to contact her husband, Frank Stump, who is employed in Alaska, but no word had been received when The News went to press. Funeral arrangements had not been made late Wednesday.

Mrs. Stump is the mother of two children, Harold of Winterset and a daughter, Irene.

STUMP OBITUARY

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Stump, resident of this county most of her life, died on Wednesday, September 8 at the age of 57 years. Funeral services were held Friday, September 10 at 2:30 P.M. at the Ramsey–Richards Funeral Home. Rev. Covey conducted the service and interment was made in the Pleasant View cemetery.

Mary Evelyn Brock, daughter of William and Elizabeth Shaw Brock, was born in Webster township August 17, 1886. She was a member of the Church of God. On December 21, 1913, she was united in marriage to Frank Stump. To this union were born to children.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Irene Manning; one son, Harold Stump; her father, William Brock; one brother, Homer Brock; none one sister, Mrs. Ada Binns of Greeley, Colo.
