Cleo Bell Baker, 81, of Lorimor, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 1986, at the Madison County Hospital in Winterset.
She was born July 29, 1905, near Macksburg, the daughter of Thomas J. and Mary (Simpson) Wright. On Oct. 3, 1936, she married Floyd Baker. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1978.
She lived most of her life in Madison county, moving to Lorimor in 1980. She was a homemaker, a member of the Lorimor Church of God, Women’s Relief Corps of Macksburg, and Women’s Club of Lorimor.
She is survived by a daughter, Alberta and husband, Ed Stajcar of Lonmor; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Lorimor Church of God with Rev. Dave Headley officiating. burial was at the Barney Cemetery, north of Lorimor, with the Watts-Lindsay funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial has been established for the Lorimor Church of God.
