A funeral service was held Thursday, May 6, at United Presbyterian Church in Greenfield for Isaac Molln of Greenfield, who died May 4 at Madison County Memorial Hospital at the age of 82.

Born in Adair county on November 1, 1899, he was the son of Fred and Harriet Molln. He attended rural Adair county schools but finished his schooling in Greenfield.

On Dec. 25, 1922 he married Florence Helen Roberts in Greenfield. Three children were later born to the union.

Mr. Molln was a farmer all his life, farming in both Adair and Madison counties. He was involved in a number of community activities and served as school director for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marven; half-brother, Brandon Molln; step-sister, Patience Johnson; and 2 grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Florence; a daughter, Jean Havens of Greenfield; two sons, Dean Molln of Winterset and Dale Molln of Greenfield; two sisters, Myrtle Porter of Creston and Ann Harris of Waterloo; a brother, Wilbur Molln of Polk City; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Rev. Wayne Norris officiated at the funeral service. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery.
