Martha Ann Tisdale Caskey Holmes was born in Ohio, Oct 12, 1832 and died near Truro, Nov 29, 1912. She moved as a child to Indiana. On December 7, 1854 she married George Caskey. Two children were born to this union, Robert T. of Truro, George W. of Corning. The husband died October 18, 1862. She then married A. Holmes, March 9, 1873.

The funeral of Mrs. Arch Holmes was held from the house Sunday at 1:30 conducted by S. C. Howe.
