Former Local Woman Died Suddenly Tuesday

Mrs. Vernon Williams, 33 of Dawson, Iowa, died Tuesday at Kings Daughters hospital in Perry. She became ill Monday evening and was rushed to the hospital where her condition rapidly became worse and she died Tuesday afternoon. She is survived by her husband and a son David, four years old. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at Atkins, Iowa.

Mrs. Williams will be remembered as the former Viola Fry of Earlham. She attended school here for a number of years, but graduated from the Winterset high school.
