Mrs. B. E. Storrs died Saturday morning, May 28th, at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines. Mrs. Storrs became ill May 12th and had gone to Des Moines several weeks ago and a major operation was performed Tuesday, May 19th. It was thought that she was getting along nicely, and the news of her death came as a distinct shock to her relatives and friends.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lowden, and was thirty years of age, being born March 6th, 1897, in Adair county. She attended Simpson college at Indianola for two years and in 1918 she moved to this county with her father.

On June 6th 1918, she was united in marriage to Beattie E. STorrs, and they have since made their home in this community.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Gerald Eugene, and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Laizure of Winterset, and Mrs. Osa Dunn of Delavan, Minnesota.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. Clare McCallon, Monday afternoon, at 3 o'clock at Tidrick's funeral home, and burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
