William P. Krell was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Krell and began earth’s journey in Pickaway county, Ohio, in March 21st, 1862, and after 65 years, 2 months and 12 days, passed away at Sioux City, Iowa, June 3rd, 1927. At the age of 7 or 8 he came to Madison county, Iowa, where he made his residence for quite a number of years. He was united in marriage to Laura A. Orris, May 17th, 1883. The children of the home were Ray E. and Earl L., of Des Moines; Vernon S. of Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Pearl Totten of Medina, Washington. These with their mother, a brother, Clifton Krell of Omaha, and numerous other relatives survive him.

Mr. Krell was open-minded to the truth of the Gospel of Christ and took great delight in attendance at church as much as possible. His health has been failing for several years as one after another of the powers of life have given away. He was a kind husband, a good father, an industrious citizen, loyal to all that is good. He leaves a good name for those to cherish that are left to mourn for him.

The funeral services were held at the Tidrick funeral home, Wednesday, June 8th, at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton. Interment was in the Pleasant View cemetery.
