Leonard, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lull, was born in Madison county, June 26, 1864, and died at his home in Patterson, September 3rd 1927, being of age 66 years, 2 months and 7 days. Mr. Lull was ill and confined to his home for the past year.

On November 9th, 1877, the deceased was married to Luetta Oglesby, who preceded him in death on June 5th 1922. To this union were born eight children: Clyde, who died in infancy, Mrs. Gertrude Sloan, of Tulsa, Okla., Ernest, of Earlham, Robert, Howard, John, Lee and Glen of Patterson: all of whom are living. Mr. Lull is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. V. Ferris, of Valley Junction and Mrs. A. E. Misseldine of Des Moines, two brothers, C. Lull of Minnesota and N. Lull of Valley Junction, also a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Forbes of California, and two half-brothers, A. Lull of Valley Junction and E. Lull of Kansas. Mr. Lull is survived by 11 grandchildren.

Leonard Lull was a member of Bevington lodge, I.O.O.F. and a member of the Methodist church. He has lived his entire life in this community and was well known. Many have been the thoughts and expression of anxiety during his long and painful illness.

Funeral services were conducted by the pastor at the Methodist church in Patterson on Monday afternoon. Burial was made at Montpelier.
