Beulah Ruth Harrison

Beulah Ruth Harrison, daughter of Teddy Hayden and Regina Hircock Hayden was born January 13, 1925 in Winterset, Iowa and passed from this life Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Madison County Memorial Hospital at 90 years of age.

Beulah attended school Madison County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Frank Donald Harrison on September 20, 1942 at Maryville, Missouri and together they raised four children on a farm in Clarke County, Iowa.

In addition to her work on the farm, Beulah worked at the hospital in Winterset and later for Bethesda Care Center and Care Center North in Winterset and became a CNA working for nearly 21 years. She then worked in the private sector from 1988 until April 2005.

She was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Winterset, Iowa of which she joined in 1983. During these years, Beulah served as the Sabbath School Secretary, Assistant Church Treasurer, and also served as church Deaconess. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

Those relatives who preceded Beulah in death were her parents, Teddy and Regina Hayden, husband, Frank Donald Harrison; son, Lloyd Harrison; brothers, Keith Hayden and Merrill Hayden; son -in-law, Mike Klippenes; sisters, Faye Palmer and Wilma Floene Morrison; brothers in law, Lynn Morrison, John Gallentime, Elton Faux, Perly Palmer; sister-in-law, Gretchen Bucklin; grandson, Garrett Harrison; niece, Betty Young and mother in law, Nettie Harrison.

Beulah leaves to cherish her memory; son, Donavon Duane (Darla Jenks) Harrison of Murray, IA; son, Ronald (Michelle) Harrison of Siren, WI, daughter, Bonnie Klippenes of Minneapolis, MN; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; sister, Anna Grace Faux of Ottumwa, IA; sister, Helen (Willis) Salsbury of Norwalk, IA, sister, Marjorie Gallentime of Carlisle, IA, sister, Norene (Scott) Zimmerman of Burley, ID, sister-in-law, Corleen Hayden of St. Charles, IA, daughter-in-law, Eva Harrison of Afton, IA; niece, Donna Klug of Des Moines, IA, niece, Wilma (Jerry) Bucklin of Roland, IA as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be directed to Seventh-day Adventist Church, Winterset, Iowa
