Miss Boyles was born May 18, 1909, at Liberty in Clarke county. At the age of three years, she moved with her parents to New Virginia, where most of her life was spent. She attended the public schools there, graduating from high school with the class of 1927. Following this she lived in the vicinities of Weldon, St. Charles, and Peru.

In 1921 she was united with the Methodist Episcopal church at New Virginia, in which she was active in the church school and the Epworth league.

The deceased is survived by her parents; a sister having preceded her in death in 1903. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church in New Virginia on January 9th, in charge of the Rev. Clarence Moore. Interment was made in the New Virginia cemetery.

Short funeral services were held at the house, last Thursday morning.
