Page 4, Column 4Mr. Wm. McDonald, of Jefferson township, one of the oldest persons in the county, and one of the earliest settlers, died at his home yesterday morning at 9 o'clock.
The funeral takes place from his late residence to-day at 10 o'clock, a.m. We shall endeavor to procure an obituary notice next week. The account of his death reaches us just as we go to press.

We were very sorry when we learned of the death of Uncle Wm. McDonald. This neighborhood loses one of its best citizens. He has gone to rest. We truly sympathize with the bereaved family.
