Wednesday, April 20, 1977Mable F. Gray, 85, 703 Crawford Street, died April 19, 1977, at the Ledges Manor, She was born March 25, 1892, in Peru, IA. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gray.
Miss Gray was an elementary teacher in Madison County, Jordan and Boone schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Philathea Sunday School Class, Eastern Star, White Shrine, National Retired Teachers and the Boone County Retired Teachers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Survivors include two sisters Laura Manny and Eva Peterson, both of Boone; five nieces and three nephews.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Star Welin Chapel with Doctor Carl Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of the service.
