St. Charles

John Armstrong, who has been a great sufferer for nearly two years, passed away at the home of his sister Mrs. O. M. Horton on last Thursday night. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Horton and two brothers, Harry Armstrong of St. Charles and Joe of Melrose.

Funeral services were held in the U. P. church, of which he was a member, last Sabbath, conducted by Rev. McElroy and his remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery by the side of his father and mother.
