Calvin Lake died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Burns, Sunday evening after a week's illness. He is survived by his wife, five sons and two daughters. The children were all present at the funeral. The funeral was held at the church Thursday at eleven o'clock, interment at the Hill of Zion cemetery. The family have the sympathy of all their friends and relatives.

Transcriber's note: The deceased lived in Madison County from early childhood through his mid 40s when he moved to Kansas.
