Several persons from this neighborhood attended the funeral of the second son of Mark Mabbitt Monday. The services were held at the house conducted by Rev. C. J. Miller of Early Chapel.

On Saturday, February 29, 1908, occurred the death of Roy Mabbitt, aged 15 years and – months. He was a son of Mark and Wilda Mabbitt. Services were held Monday, conducted by Claude J. Miller, and interment was in the Jackson township cemetery.
