Thursday, July 16, 1903Mrs. Rosa E. Alexander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Landers of Madison county, Iowa, died July 10, 1903, aged 32 years, 6 months and five days. She was born in Madison county, Iowa, Jan. 5, 1871, and was married to Addison Alexander at Greenfield, Adair county, April 9, 1889.
Seven children were born to them, six boys and one girl. Four children are left to mourn with the bereaved husband.
The moved from Earlham to Crawford county and lived there three years; removed from there to Cedar county, Neb., in 1902, where she lived until her death. She joined the Presbyterian church of Earlham in the spring of 1899.
Her remains were brought here Saturday and the funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. G. E. Nichols. Interment was in Earlham cemetery.
