Mrs. D. D. Cameron of Scott township, died early Saturday morning of lockjaw, resulting from the injuries she received about three weeks ago, when she was severely burned by the explosion of a kerosene can. Mrs. Cameron was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Curly of Zearing, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Cameron have lived in this county about a year, living some time in Iowa before moving to the county. She leaves besides her husband, five small children.

Funeral services were held at the home at three o’clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Father Churchill and the body taken to St. Anthony, Monday for burial. Among the relatives called here by her death were S. Curly, W. J. Curly, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crossley and Miss Celia Curly of Zearing, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Patterson, of Mitchellville.
