Mrs. Mary Allison Dunn, a native of Madison county, died on August 17th at her home in Patterson. She was the mother of Perry Knowles of Oskaloosa and Lee Roy Knowles of Stockton, California. Her husband, George Knowles, died when these sons were quite young. She was married to Thomas Lane, who died in 1902. Two children grew to maturity, Mrs. Cora Stout of Patterson and Orva of Cairo, Mo. Five years ago, she married Charles Dunn, whose death came soon after.
Funeral services were held at Patterson on August 19th, with Rev. L. R. Gans in charge. Interment took place in Union Chapel cemetery.
