JEFFERSON I. HARSH

Jefferson I. Harsh of Winterset died Sunday, Dec. 11 at the age of 88 years.

Mr. Harsh was born in Warren County, near New Virginia, a son of Jacob and Lucinda (Monier) Harsh. He was married to Harriett Gladhill on Sept 8, 1890. They were parents of two sons and four daughters. He is survived by two sons, Cecil of Key Port, Washington & Leland of Huntington Beach, Ca, one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Jones of Winterset, a brother, Wesley Harsh of Des Moines, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. LeRoy Bussinger, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church.

Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
