Henry Molloy, 66 passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Winterset Cemetery in Winterset. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Henry was born May 11, 1940, to George and Fern (Steele) Molloy in Des Moines. Henry graduated from St. Charles High School in 1958. He was a member of Laborers Local #177 in Des Moines. Henry enjoyed spending time with his family, horse racing at Prairie Meadows and Iowa Hawkeye Basketball.

Henry is survived by his sons, Kevin, Craig, Nathan and Jared; daughter, Krista Townsend; mother, Fern Molloy; son-in-law, Todd Johnson; two sisters, Veronica Woods and Margaret Bryan; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Molloy and a daughter, Vanessa Johnson.
