Dexter, IowaAlma Rosa Dorothea Pevesterf was born March 17, 1894, the sixth child of Frederick Pevesterf and Georgine, nee Deppman, in Willow Township, Green County, Iowa.
She was baptized April 22, 1894 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids, Iowa and was confirmed in the same church on April 12, 1908.
On March 12, 1919 she was united in marriage to Walter Clausen at Trinity Church, Coon Rapids.
She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church since her marriage and a member of the Ladies’ Aid and Senior Fellowship.
She passed away December 31, 1968 at her home in Dexter, Iowa, Madison County at the age of 74.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Walter of Dexter; her children, Dorothy, (Mrs. Charles Kern) of Logan, Iowa; Dr. Dale Clausen of Stuart, Iowa; and Georgine, (Mrs. Robert Hennings) of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Rose Long and Emma Long, four brothers, Albert, Arthur, Elmer and Julius all of Coon Rapids, and sixteen grandchildren.
