Obituary

Myrtle May Haxton was born April 13, 1876 in Adair county, Iowa and died on July 2, 1910, at her home near Patterson. She was raised in Madison county, where she has passed the greater part of her life.

On January 15, 1894, she was married to J. F. Wilcox. To this union was born one child, a son, Oct. 4, 1894, who has been the pride of their home.

She always professed a Christian religion but never united with any church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, son, her parents, one sister and six brothers. Gone but not forgotten, may she rest in peace.

Mrs. Frank Wilcox died at her home south of town last Saturday morning from the effects of measles. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Union Chapel at 3 o'clock, Rev. Rusk conducting the services.
