DANIEL THARP , Truro

Daniel Lee Tharp, 63, of Truro, passed away May 10, 2013, from pancreatic cancer.

Daniel was born August 26, 1949. Daniel loved being outdoors no matter what he was doing and he also loved kids very much.

Daniel is survived by Travis Tharp (son) of Truro, Christina (daughter in law) of Norwalk, Paul Shafer (father) of Macallsburg, Jake Shafer (brother) of Des Moines, Patrick Alexander (brother) of Des Moines, Jenette Brown (sister) of Murray, Charmain (sister) of CA. Step children: David Campbell, Rebecca Miner, Lisa Rumbaugh, and Lucas Campbell. Daniel will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Daniel is proceeded in death by Patricia Alexander (mother) of Murray, Bill Brown (brother) of Murray and Teresa Clay (step daughter) of Des Moines.

The grave site ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. June 1, 2013 at the Murray cemetery. A potluck lunch will be held at the Murray legion hall following the burial.
