February 1997McCook, Neb.—Patricia L. Spahn, 66, of McCook, Neb. died Feb. 28, 1997 at Community Hospital. Funeral services were held March 4 at the Assembly of God Church with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Spahn was born Feb. 22, 1931 in Dallas Center and was the daughter of Roy and Vera Louise (Hougham) Conaway. She graduated from Earlham High School in 1948. She moved to McCook in 1950. She married Edward N. Spahn on Dec. 10, 1950 in McCook.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and was the Sunday school secretary. She enjoyed reading and regularly visited people at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Edward; two daughters, Donna Stucker of Adel and Mary Gonzales of McCook; one brother, Richard Conaway of Everett, Wash. and four grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her name.
