VAN WERT, IA.—Services for Walter Francis King, 81, of Van Wert, who died of cancer Sunday at his home, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Leon. He was a retired, self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Mae; three daughters, Evelyn Morey of Los Alamitos, Calif., Bobbie Kennedy of Winterset and Mary Mahoney of Des Moines; a son, Gene King of England; a sister, Teresa Bishop of Ankeny; two brothers, Jack King of Prole and Louis King of Winterset; and nine grandchildren.
