Page 18Woman, 105, dies in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, IA.—Ida Sinn, one of Iowa’s oldest living residents, died Tuesday at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital. She was 105.
Mrs. Sinn, a resident of Griffin’s Nursing Home here, was born in Clarke County and farmed with her husband Edward in the Truro area. He died in 1946.
Services for Mrs. Sinn will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, with burial in the Hartman Cemetery at Truro.
Survivors include four daughters, Carrie Muselman of Knoxville, Grace Conn of Costa Mesa, Calif., Velma Sullivan of Des Moines, and Audrey May of Windsor, Mo.; a son Myron, of Windsor, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, P. L. Monical of Houston, Texas, and a sister, Elva Kline of Omaha.
