Mrs. Sadie G. Douglas

Services for Mrs. Sadie G. Douglas, 72, of 1511 E. 12th St., will be at noon Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Union Chapel Cemetery near Patterson.

Mrs. Douglas died of cancer at her home after an illness of 4 1/2 years.

Born in Madison County, she lived in Winterset before moving to Des Moines 20 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, Ancil R; four sons Verlin L. of Winterset, Darrell D. of Earlham, and Marvin R. and Larry K., both of Des Moines; Mrs. Arlene Holman of Kenai, Alaska, Mrs. Floy Hallman of Des Moines, Mrs. Jean Clopton of Winterset; a sister, Mrs. Mary Beard of Winterset, two brothers, Lester Janes of Winterset, and Hayes Janes of Indianola, 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
