Services for Carl E. Ramey, 75, of 4830 Seneca Ave., who died Thursday of a heart ailment at Mercy Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Westover Funeral Home with burial at the St. Charles Cemetery.

Born in Abingdon, Mr. Ramey lived in Des Moines for 17 years. He was a retired employee of the Fort Des Moines Hotel and was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Freedette; two sons, Richard of Elkton, Ore., and George of St. Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Carleen Roberts of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Donna Sutherland of Burlington; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
