Ethel G. Wallace, 82, of 1210 S.W. Kenyon Ave., died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

A native of Afton, she had lived in Des Moines 30 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dunn’s S.W. Ninth Street Funeral Home with burial in the Clark Cemetery at Winterset.

Surviving are a son, Dwayne of Rock Island, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Merle Anderson of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Herbert Allen of Fort Dodge and Wilma Penny of Des Moines; three sisters, Delia Jeffs of Lorimor, Lula Orr of Rockwell City, and Mrs. Ruby Ackelson of Des Moines; two brothers, Charles Jeffs of Peru, Ia., and Everett Jeffs of Winterset; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
