Winterset Madisonian – November 18, 1959

Former Resident Dies at Ft. Dodge

Funeral services were held at the Zion church near Orient Sunday, for Oren Kearns of Manson, a former Webster township resident. Mr. Kearns, who was 70 years of age, died last Thursday at Ft. Dodge.

A son of Albert and Kathryn Kearns, he was born in Webster township, and spent his early life there. He is survived by his wife of Manson; two daughters, Mrs. Zena M. Weaver and Mrs. Winifred Nelson, both of Orient; and two sons, Rockell Kearns of Lohrville and Albert Kearns of ------------.

Burial was made in Moon cemetery near Macksburg.
