Joseph Crocheck Died Here Aug. 10

Joseph C. Crocheck, a resident of Madison county for 30 years, died Friday, Aug. 10, at a nursing home here. He was 87 years of age.

Mr. Crocheck was born at Iowa City March 1, 1875. His life was spent in farming. He was married to Burdie Bush, whose death occurred in 1947.

Surviving are a son, Robert O. Crocheck of Boone; a daughter, Vada L. Rush of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Rosary services were held Aug. 12 from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset with funeral services Aug. 13 from St. Joseph’s Catholic church here, with the pastor, the V. Rev. Msgr. John W. Higgins, officiating. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
