Leo Dunn Died in Des Moines Friday

Leo Dunn, formerly a well-known Winterset resident, died last Friday, March 5, at a Des Moines hospital. He was 68 years of age and had been in delicate health for several months.

Mr. Dunn lived most of his life in Winterset until about 20 years ago, when he moved to Des Moines. He had been employed there as foreman of an automobile body shop, until his health failed.

He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dunn of Winterset.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Gene Dunn of St. Charles and Cecil Dunn of Eagle Grove; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Von Werne, who is now living in Japan; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Dunn of Denver, Colo.

Funeral services were held Monday from Dunn’s Funeral home in Des Moines, with burial in the Winterset cemetery.
