Mrs. Marshall Rites Planned

Services for Mrs. Katheryne I. Marshall, 78, of 1238 Forty-sixth St., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery at Winterset. Mrs. Marshall died of influenza Sunday at home. She had been ill a week.

Born in Lacona, she had been a Des Moines resident 35 years, formerly living in Newport, Ky.

She attended Monmouth College in Illinois and the Cincinnati (Ohio) Conservatory of Music. She also studied music at Simpson College at Indianola. She was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. R. T. Stout, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Mabyl M. McLees of Boulder, Colo.
