Susie E. Beem of Winterset Dies

Susie E. Beem, lifetime resident of the Winterset community died Thursday, March 7, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 67 years of age.

Miss Beem was born near Winterset on July 20, 1895, a daughter of Lemon and Laura Rose Beem. She was a member of the First Christian church here.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters. She leaves a brother, Clarence W. Beem of Winterset, and a sister, Mrs. Lula Estell of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset in charge of the Rev. Arthur Nagel. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
