Funeral Services Set This Friday from Collins Funeral Hoe
Otha D. Stout of Winterset, a resident of Madison county most of his life, died this Wednesday, Jan. 16 at his home here. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Stout was born at Patterson Nov. 15, 1892, a son of Elvis and Margaret Seymore Stout. With the exception of 10 years in Clarke county, his life was spent in Madison county. For many years he farmed near Peru retiring and moving to Winterset in 1957.
He was married May 7, 1927 at Albany, Mo. to Veronica Letz, who survives him. He also leaves two sons, DeVerne Stout of Des Moines and Loren Stout of Waukee; four grandchildren; and a brother, Rufus Stout of Wilbur, Ore.
Funeral services will be held this Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
