June 17, 1964 - February 14, 2013

Michelle Schrodt, 48, of Lorimor died Thursday, February 14, 2013.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.

A visitation with family present will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ochiltree's.
Burial will be in the Ellston Cemetery, Ellston, Iowa in Ringgold County, Iowa.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (5452 NE 22nd Street, Des Moines, IA 50313).

Michelle Robin Schrodt was born June 17, 1964 in Escondido, California, the daughter of David and Donna (Walters) Schrodt. She graduated from Chattooga High School of Summerville, Georgia in 1981.

Michelle worked at Iowa Select Farms near Lorimor for 10 years as a farm manager, where she had many friends and was well respected. All her life, she loved animals. She raised dogs and loved her horses.

Michelle is survived by her parents, David and Donna Schrodt of Urbandale; a brother, Andrew (Sara) Schrodt of West Des Moines; 3 nieces and a nephew, Rebecca, Gracen, Samuel and Chloe.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chris and Wanda Walters who lived in Beaconsfield, and John and Pauline Duke from the Creston area.
