Departed on Feb. 11, 2013 and resided in Winterset, IA.

Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013

Timothy James Glenn, 30, of Winterset, went home to his Father on February 11, 2013. Tim was a loving husband, devoted father, beloved son, and brother. Tim attended college at DMACC and worked as a diesel mechanic for Brown National Lease until recently when he became a self-employed carpenter.

Timothy is survived by his wife Sarah of Winterset, two daughters from a previous marriage: Alexis Glenn and Alivia Glenn of Cambridge; step-son: Taylor; grandparents: Albert and Mary Carmichael of Redfield; parents: Barbara Shunk of Des Moines and Dennis Glenn of Guthrie Center; sister: Elizabeth Glenn of Des Moines; brother: Curtis (Bobbi) Glenn of Carlisle; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Tim will be remembered as a caring soul who would help anyone that needed a helping hand. He cherished the time he spent with his children and spent many hours playing video games with his daughter. His favorite times were spent fishing and hanging out with family. He will be greatly loved and missed.

His body will be cremated and remains buried at Panther Creek Cemetery at a later date. Service will be at the American Legion Hall in Redfield on Saturday, February 16 at 2 pm.
