Marjorie Ann Wohlwend died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Marge was born in Madison County on February 16, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Gladys Wight. She graduated from Winterset High School and Americana University of Beauty where she met fellow student Joseph Wayne Wohlwend. They were married February 28, 1948.
Marge is survived by daughters, Suzanne Robinson and Barbara Wohlwend; sons, David Wohlwend and Bruce Wohlwend; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son, John Paul Wohlwend; and great-grandson, Hans Ploessel, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Ave., at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9. Family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church in loving memory of Marjorie.
